As usual, Village Island will be exhibiting and this year, we have quite a few exiting news and demos for you:
DekTec
continues to impress with its complete range of DVB-T2 products.
And with Xpect, DekTec brings to the industry an affordable TS monitoring solution.
We will also present the latest DekTec hardware:
- DTA-2136 Cable receiver PCIe card

PCIe card with 3 ASI ports and 1 GigE port for easy ASI to IP conversions

first PCIe based UHF/VHF modulator with even better RF performance
- Soon to be released are the DTA-2148 quad HD-SDI port and DTA-2152 dual HD-SDI port PCIe cards. There will be some great new applications with these cards such as:
* HD-SDI analysis and monitoring
* Easy encoding of HD videos with IP output for IPTV applications.
* Even a complete Head End in the box with Encoder, Mux and Modulator (using another DekTec modulator card) all in one system and using only DekTec tools.
Sencore
has been very busy this year with several new releases:
- The
SMD989
DVB-S/S2 modulator is setting the bar very high in the DVB-S2 market with support to all the new features brought in the S2 standard at a competitive price.
- The
TXS3453
Transcoder can perform up to 16 HD transcoding processes from MPEG-2 to H.264 plus. Come to the booth and see for yourself the gains in bitrate with almost no quality loss!
- The
MRD3187
remains the reference of the industry for IRDs with the addition of several modules such as the new IP cards and versatile SD/HD-SDI output cards.

TS offline analyzer makes its debut at the Broadcast Asia. Village View will come very handy for all those who want to analyze in depth TS files including visual representation of the TS packets, the PCRs, and analysis of the SI Tables.
