The XVD™ Enterprise SD-TX150 is an ultra-compact, integrated video and audio encoder with IP network interface delivering high quality, real-time digital content at low encoded data rates across IP-based networks.

Utilizing next generation XVD™ technology, the SD-TX150 provides the highest quality and resolution in digital video content at any given bandwidth, and delivers video at full D1 resolution (525@60i or 625@50i) within the bandwidth of a single T1 link.

The SD-TX150 captures and compresses analog video and audio content (NTSC and PAL) into an XVD data stream in real time. The SD-TX150 encoder contains a compact DSP-powered engine that connects directly to almost any analog TV source and IP-based network. Its mini-server mode enables the SD-TX150 to transmit the compressed audio and video stream to multiple decoders using a variety of transmission options. Using TCP/IP, the stream can be directly linked to an SD-RX150 decoder or to the XVD Streaming Server for re-transmission in an Enterprise environment.

Additionally, using RTP with internal XVD™ FEC algorithms, the stream can also be linked to multiple PC-based RTP receiver/players using IP multicast protocols providing very low latency.

Configuring the SD-TX150 is extremely simple; using a standard PC browser, any SD-TX100 device located on a local subnet can be easily and securely configured for the type of performance and options required for the application.
