The VB440-Appliance is a groundbreaking product designed to monitor and analyze high bitrate broadcast media traffic as defined by SMPTE 2110 and 2022-6 in core broadcast networks, production studios, master control centers, broadcast vehicles, and venues. Furthermore, it supports JPEG-XS lightweight compression for analysis with optional licensing and is fully compatible with NMOS. With dual 100Gb Ethernet connections capable of monitoring streams up to 80Gbps, it provides state-of-the-art analytics across all monitored streams, including network timing, video and HDR color metering, audio meters, and ancillary data. Redundancy as defined by SMPTE 2022-7 can be monitored via an intuitive side-by-side path delay display when connected to both primary and secondary networks.
